Joy Froelich is an experienced family physician who has practiced in Columbia Missouri and Bismarck/Mandan for several years. She graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks. She finished her internship in Bismarck and completed residency in Columbia Missouri. She practiced in Columbia Missouri for several years and then moved home to be closer to family. She then began practicing in Bismarck/Mandan in 2013. She grew up on a ranch in south central North Dakota. She is a board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been licensed to practice medicine in North Dakota.
Dr. Froelich focuses in wellness and health in her practice. She is interested in providing care to infants, children and adults. She has excellent listening and diagnostic skills and enjoys spending time with her patients.
In addition to being a full time family physician, she is a wife, mother of 5, and a grandmother. She has a passion for family and medicine. As a busy physician and mother, hobbies take a back seat to spending quality time with family.

Carissa Cornell FNP-c
Carissa Cornell is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a native of Linton, ND. She graduated from the University of Mary in 2009 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then went on to obtain her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2012. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Carissa has previous nurse practitioner experience in family practice/weight loss and pulmonary/critical care. She emphasizes health and wellness in all stages of life. She looks forward to serving the families of Bismarck-Mandan and the surrounding communities.
Carissa is married, and her and her husband are expecting their first child this summer. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, playing piano, and spending time with family and friends.
Christina Gisvold is a family nurse practitioner born and raised in North Dakota. In 2004, she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and in 2012 she went on to obtain her Master of Science degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, both from the University of Mary. She is accredited by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a member of the North Dakota Nurse Practitioners Association & the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Denise McDonough is an experienced family physician who has practiced in the Bismarck-Mandan community for twenty years. She graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks and completed her family practice residency in Bismarck. She has lived her entire life in North Dakota. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been licensed to practice medicine in North Dakota since 1996.
Dr. McDonough emphasizes health promotion in her practice. She is especially interested in providing care to women, infants and children. She has provided health care internationally and has an interest in travel medicine.
She likes to get to know her patients and their families. She is very thorough and takes the necessary time to get things done. She treats her patients as she would like to be treated.
Denise is married and mother to three adult children. She has three golden retrievers. Her hobbies include gardening, cooking and exercising her puppies.
